Status of Residence "Family Stays"
So-called Dependent Visa. A hasband, Wife, Children or Adopted Children of a Resident
- The Resident who Stays in Japan with a Valid Status of Residence.
- The Visa Applicant must be Dependent of the Resident.
- Working is not allowed if without a "Permission to Engage in Activity other than that Permitted under the Status of Residence Previousy Granted."
Spouse, etc. of a Japanese National
Spouse, Chlidren or Adopted Children of a Japanese National
- Spouse Legitimately Married with a Japanese National and the Matrimony is Actually ongoing.
- Children or Adopted Children born as a Japanese National no matter where he/she was born.
- Adopted Children based on Japanese Civil Law Art.817-2.
- No Restriction regarding Working.
Spouse, etc. of a Permanent Resident
Spouse or Children of a Permanent Resident
- Spouse Legitimately Married with a Permanent Resident and the Matrimony is Actually ongoing.
- Children born in Japan as a Child of a Permanent Resident and living in Japan.
- No Restriction regarding Working.
